Recommended list of epic rides around the world that Mizziel has personally ridden:

Please ride these roads with caution and at your own comfort level and speed. Public roads can be very dangerous due to external factors such as other cars, animals, cyclists, runners, hikers, fixed objects (trees, guardrails, posts, etc.), cliffs, gravel on the road, oil patches, and the list goes on. Please be mindful of the safety of others on the road as well. I always recommend shredding tires at the track. Be safe and happy riding!

CALIFORNIA |

Southern California:

  • Buttonwillow Raceway
  • Willow Spring International Raceway
  • Angeles Crest Highway- One of my favorite “backyard” roads. Stop by the famous Newcombs Ranch to meet other awesome riders and delicious food.
  • Malibu Canyons- Riding north up Hwy 1, (R) Las Flores Canyon Rd., (R) Rambla Pacifico St., (Cont.) Piuma Rd., (R) Las Virgines Rd., (L) Mullhulland Hwy., Stop at the famous ROCK STORE, (Cont.) Mullhulland Hwy. through the “Snake” (series of fun, tighter, curvy roads, (Cont.) through the famous “J Turn” (Opt. Stop and take pics), (cont.) Mullhulland Hwy., (L) Kanan Dume Rd. for a nice and easy cruise back down to Hwy. 1
    • I also love riding up and down Latigo Canyon Rd. (It’s like a longer version of the “Snake”)
    • Stopping by Malibu Cafe is a great location for food and photo ops

Northern California:

**Note: Recommend renting a motorcycle from Eaglerider San Francisco BMW-Ducati-Honda if you need a bike

  • Thunderhill Raceway (My favorite track!)
  • Mt. Diablo
  • Hwy 280 S to Hwy 92 W to Hwy 35 S
  • Pescadero Rd.

Ride from Southern California to Northern California and back:

  • Hwy 1 all the way up for an incredibly scenic ride
    • Optional stops along the way: Santa Barbara, Pismo Beach, Solvang (visit the cool Motorcycle Museum), Big Sur (Highly recommended)

  • Batangas – Take C-5, Exit S Luzon SLEX (South Luzon Expressway), Exit Santa Rosa, Take Santa Rosa Hwy going up to Tagaytay and go further towards Batangas (NASUGBU Batangas)
    • For delicious Lomi, visit Rosario Batangas- Take SLEX the whole way until Star Tollway, Exit San Jose Ibaan
  • Marilaque Twisties – From Manila City go East on Marcos Hwy, pass Cogeo, go straight until you reach Marilaque Twisties. **note** Marilaque Twisties is comprised of three mountain ranges – Marikina, Laguna, Quezon a.k.a. MariLaQue!
